In Seattle, 2075, runners are hired to provide security at a prestigious charity gala where rival politicians, corporate interests, grieving families, and Yakuza assassins converge. As an attempted assassination exposes a wider conspiracy, the group must investigate, build alliances, and decide whom to protect. This Shadowrun 5th Edition scenario emphasizes social interaction, observation, and split-second decisions over straightforward combat. A minute-by-minute timeline, branching dialogue, NPC motivations, investigation clues, and a Social Boon system support negotiations and changing relationships. Player choices determine which characters survive and shape the news report that follows. The 55-page module is also playable with Shadowrun 4th Edition with minor adjustments; maps and NPC stat blocks are not included.
