The Ritual of Rebirth

The player characters awaken trapped in small wooden boxes, stripped of their possessions and with no memory of who they are or how they were buried alive. After escaping and surviving attacks by undead, they reach the suspicious village of Fahrhandle, where only the local cleric offers them shelter. When the cleric is murdered the following morning, the characters must investigate the village, uncover the forces working against them, and clear their names while surviving further attacks. Their investigation leads to a hidden plot involving a destructive ritual of rebirth. Designed for 4th–6th level characters.
