The Starship From Hell

A system-agnostic toolkit for creating horrific starship encounters during science-fiction RPG sessions. A handful of dice generates a ship’s type, category, name, nearby phenomena, distress signal, dangerous cargo, and passengers or crew with disturbing secrets. The resulting scenario may involve a vessel losing control to an unknown intelligence, a dangerous cosmic phenomenon, forbidden cargo, or a crew member carrying evidence connected to one of the player characters. Tables provide the details needed to build a starship, its crisis, and the people trapped aboard.
