The Trial of the Forest

Players lead a clan into an ancient, evolving forest and perform deeds to build their story and claim victory. On each turn players move through changing paths, gather resources, play multi-use cards and develop skills; actions include foraging, searching for artifacts, visiting shops, engaging in combat or interacting peacefully with rivals. Deeds and encounters grant skill progression and fame, and the board and available options change as the game progresses, producing a unique narrative and strategic path to win.
