Thousand Year Old Campfire

A solo archaeology game about excavating a cave-mouth campsite used repeatedly over a thousand or more years. Players build the site’s history in reverse, rolling a die to add layers of dirt from the bedrock upward. As the cave floor rises, archaeological finds are uncovered and a flowchart determines what each find is and how it came to be there.
