Two-Fisted Tales Revised

A fast-moving roleplaying game of 1930s and 1940s pulp adventures, covering noir detectives, daring heroes, unusual gadgets, martial arts, magic, and superhuman powers. Players create characters by choosing a pulp template or building a custom hero, then resolve actions with ability ratings, specialties, mastery bonuses, and standard playing cards that can alter rolls or damage. Four reality levels range from gritty to amazing, allowing stories to feature grounded investigators or super-heroic legends battling giant creatures. Random tables help establish scenarios and locations, while villain templates provide quick antagonists with distinctive habits, styles, and motivations.
