Australian soldiers of the Papuan Infantry Battalion land on the island of R’lyeh off the New Guinea coast, where they face Japanese troops, mysterious Shadows, and unknown horrors. Some hostiles are starving, diseased remnants of a Japanese force, while others may be human or something else entirely. Finds provide clues to the island’s secrets, and the squad must eliminate enough Shadows and gather enough evidence to determine whether the events have a rational explanation. This expansion adds 56 cards, including Soldiers, Hostiles, Locations, Missions, Objectives, Weapons, Equipment, and Skills.
