Mondriaan 2020

A tile-placement game in which players build abstract compositions inspired by the geometric art of Piet Mondrian. Each player begins with a colored tile and receives a hand of tiles featuring red, blue, and yellow corners. On a turn, a tile is placed adjacent to the existing layout, with every touching corner matching the color of the neighboring tile, including diagonal contacts. Players score by extending colored areas already on the board, earning one point for each tile in the area they add to, but not for the newly placed tile. If no tile can be placed, one must be discarded. After all tiles are placed or discarded, the highest score wins.
