Parks
Players guide two hikers along trail tiles laid out over four seasons, moving them to take actions, gather resource tokens (mountains, forests, water, etc.), and visit scenic parks. Trails change and lengthen each season as tiles are shuffled and re-laid, creating new routes and opportunities. Actions include occupying trail spaces, using campfires to share spots with others, and spending canteens and gear to improve access to resources. Collected resources are set-matched to claim park cards and score points, so players balance building an engine with spending memories to visit parks.

Can I move to a Site that already has another player's hiker without using anything special?
No — a Site occupied by any Hiker cannot be visited unless you use your Campfire by flipping it; if your Campfire is already extinguished you cannot share occupied Sites until it relights when one of your Hikers reaches Trail End. (p.4, p.6)
Can I land on a Site just to pass through without taking its action?
No — to visit a Site you must be able to take that Site’s action, so you cannot land there if you cannot perform its action. (p.4, p.9)
Can I fill a Canteen using Water I collected on a previous turn?
No — a Canteen can only be filled with a Water token gained on that same turn; you cannot use previously collected Water to fill Canteens. (p.6, p.9)
If I land on a Site with a Weather token, can I use that token immediately toward the Site's action or other costs?
Yes — the first Hiker to land on a Site with a Weather token takes that token immediately into their supply and it can be used toward the Site’s action (and toward Season effects). (p.4, p.9)
If I use the River to copy another Site's action, does that count as actually visiting the copied Site for gear or card triggers?
No — the River lets you copy another Site’s action but does not count as visiting that Site directly (however, tokens gained via the River still benefit from Season effects). (p.5, p.9)
Do Photos cost fewer tokens if I have the Camera, and what happens with the Camera at season end?
When you have the Camera, taking a Photo costs 1 token instead of 2, and at the Season’s end the player holding the Camera may take a Photo at the reduced price. (p.6)
