2013 · Card Game
Potato Man
Players play a compact trick-taking game built around four colored suits with an unusual potato theme. Each trick, players each play one card but may use each color only once per trick (one color may repeat in five-player games). Normally the highest card wins, but a special interaction lets three low yellow cards beat top red cards when those reds are present. Winning a trick earns a scoring card from that color’s small deck; colors differ in playing-power and scoring value, and a color’s third trick instead yields high-value golden joker scoring cards. Rounds end when a player cannot follow the color restrictions, and the game proceeds for multiple rounds with total points determining the winner.
