Ahau: Rulers of Yucatán

Players act as competing city-state rulers in the Classical Maya world, managing resources, workforce and territory to increase prestige. On each turn players place workers, activate production, invoke deities and build structures such as pyramid temples and a capital, while expanding borders and developing dual engine-like production chains. The game blends worker placement and resource management with engine-building choices, and includes a solo mode co-designed with a specialist. Historical and cultural details were reviewed by a Mayanist scholar.
