Players take the roles of wealthy Roman nobles competing to become Consul while enjoying a hedonistic life in the Roman Empire. They move around the board by rolling dice and follow the instructions on the spaces they reach. To qualify for the Consul Route, a player must accumulate at least 150,000 sesterces, six slaves, a villa, and a chariot. Once these conditions are met, a roll of six allows the noble to advance along the route and claim the Consul’s laurel crown.
