Players take the roles of coaches in a tabletop arcade-style football simulation, designing formations and drawing custom plays on the field. Games resolve with a streamlined engine that keeps both coaches engaged during each play, using 2d6 skill checks, a special Playmaker die for triggered abilities, and timers for setup and play selection. Different modes change team size, rules for skills, and field-goal mechanics, while rosters of 32 teams provide distinct play styles. Players manage positioning, play-calling, and risk-reward skill rolls as they run, pass, blitz, and adapt through reactions and adjustments on a fast-paced, coach-driven gridiron.
