Ascension: Gift of the Elements

Players build and refine a personal deck by spending runes to acquire new cards and defeat monsters for Honor Points. The central lineup includes Events that trigger immediate effects and can be taken later as Hero cards. New mechanics introduce infestation, which clutters an opponent’s deck with useless cards, and empower, which lets a player banish a card played that turn to counter infestations and shape future draws. Gameplay emphasizes adaptive deck construction, timing of acquisitions, and interaction through disruptive and cleansing plays as players compete for the most Honor.
