For three years and a day, journeymen travel through 19th-century Germany, staying at least fifty kilometers from home. They work for money, food, and lodging while building experience on the road. Players manage a hand of cards to travel, find companions, take jobs, and pursue leisure activities such as music, writing, and painting. Uncertainty and random events shape each journey, with points scored at the end of each year and after the final day.
