BattleTech: Alpha Strike

A fast-playing version of a futuristic armored-combat wargame set during the Clan Invasion era. Players field individual BattleMechs and other units represented by abstract Unit Cards derived from classic record sheets, then maneuver and fight across land, sea, and air using streamlined Quick-Strike rules. The system supports both hex-based and hexless tabletop play and scales for miniatures wargamers who want quicker battles than the full-detail ruleset. Players build forces, resolve combat with dice and cards, and pursue objectives such as destroying or disabling opposing units; the book includes sample armies and a ready-to-play campaign framework.
