Carcassonne: Il Mago e la Strega

A small expansion adds eight special tiles that trigger placement of a mage or a witch. Players draw and place tiles as usual, then must place or move either the mage or the witch onto an incomplete road or city (they cannot occupy the same feature), and may then optionally deploy a follower on the tile just played. When a road or city containing the mage or witch scores, the figure modifies the points: the mage increases the feature’s score by one point per tile, while the witch halves the score (rounded up). After scoring, the figure is removed from the board until another special tile is drawn.
