Cepheus Engine System Reference Document

A standalone rules system for classic-era science fiction roleplaying, using a 2D6-based mechanic. Players create characters and explore interstellar space through speculative trade, travel, misjumps, combat, and other dangers, with character creation itself carrying risks. The rules support creating original science-fiction settings or playing in existing ones, and are designed to integrate with compatible 2D6-based modules and supplements. The system includes the core rules needed for play and is provided as Open Game Content.
