Players take turns revealing cards from their personal deck into a central pile while declaring which vegetable they are playing. The deck contains four vegetable types plus a few visible taboo cards marked with cockroaches that change how players must speak. On a turn a player names the vegetable shown, unless one of several conditions forces a lie: the revealed card matches the previously played vegetable, matches the previous spoken claim, or matches any visible taboo card. Playing a taboo card is announced and left face-up to start a new pile. Mistakes, hesitations or contradictions force a player to pick up the current piles. The first player to empty their deck wins.
