Dreamwars

A steampunk-fantasy campaign game with a horror edge in which players control Heroes trying to stop nightmarish masters from completing dark plans. Players explore modular scenarios, confront hordes of monsters, collect treasures and uncover secrets while developing their characters’ abilities and learning new powers. Games are narrative and branching: each session advances a non-linear story with outcomes that depend on player choices and event deck draws. Supports solo play or cooperative play for up to eight players, emphasizes scenario replayability through multiple event decks and modular setup, and uses accessible base mechanics alongside scenario-driven narrative elements.

I really like this game. Unfortunately the rulebook is a mess, which lowers the rating a bit for me, but the gameplay is very interesting, with lot of flavor in the adventure cards, and the mission divided in several scenarios allow for recovery and victory even despite a defeat in a previous scenario. Really interesting and immersive, I hope to play many more games.
