Players follow the premise of an ancient map to a cave where a metal ringed gate transports them to unfamiliar worlds. The game presents a sequence of puzzles and riddles that must be solved cooperatively to travel between realms and ultimately return home. Designed like an escape-room challenge, play uses printed components and a solution booklet; some pieces are intended to be folded, written on, or torn, so the experience is single-use.
