Fossil Canyon

A fossil-hunting set-collection card game created with the Field Museum. Players dig for fossils, trade with one another, and assemble complete dinosaur skeletons for their museums. Skeletons and research awards score through interlocking puzzle pieces, with longer pieces representing greater value. Players also decide which fossils to keep visible, manage increasingly costly trades, and respond to random events such as erosion. Completing a skeleton grants a bonus dig, and the length of each player’s puzzle museum shows their standing.
