Grimoire

Wizards compete for supremacy through the careful use of spells in their grimoires. Each turn, players reveal cards offering victory points or special end-game scoring conditions, then secretly choose a spell to cast. Spells resolve from weakest to strongest, affecting the order in which players claim cards and sometimes weakening more powerful spells. The game ends when a player reaches the required number of character or treasure cards, or after a fixed number of rounds, depending on the edition. Players then score their cards, and the highest score wins.
