Semi-cooperatively build oil platforms and reserves in the North Sea. Players buy technology, export oil for money and points, or open new oil fields alone or with one other player. Opening a field requires the right technology and an agreed division of costs, followed by a press-your-luck drilling phase in which players choose how deep to drill while avoiding a blowout. Technology combinations affect drilling, and temporary partnerships can lead to shared successes or failures.
