Rebel Fury

A volume in a Civil War heritage series that uses a streamlined Gettysburg-derived system to simulate six battles, including Chickamauga, Chattanooga, the Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Chancellorsville and Fredericksburg (solitaire). Players command armies at regiment-to-division scale, maneuvering to turn flanks, concentrate forces and decide artillery commitments over 12-hour turns on 0.5-mile hexes. The system uses Zones of Influence/Control to shift units between March and Battle formations as they close with the enemy, permitting free-order multiple moves and enabling historical tactical approaches. Combat is differential and factors unit quality, artillery support, supporting units and terrain, with rules for artillery duels and repeated attack waves. Components include large maps, counters, rule and playbooks, aid cards and dice; plays in about 1–2 hours and supports solitaire or two-plus players.
