Two rival sorcerers confront each other in the shifting catacombs beneath a council palace, summoning creatures and altering the terrain as the chamber changes each century. Players take turns summoning and placing creatures and using powers to modify the board, aiming to complete predetermined magical patterns. Completing patterns grants advantages and scoring; the player who completes more patterns and leverages terrain changes and creature interactions wins the duel. The game emphasizes pattern recognition, spatial planning, and combo setup in a head-to-head logical contest.
