In Sartar, the Red Cow clan struggles under Lunar occupation while rival tribes, werewolves, settlers, rebels, and ghouls threaten its lands. The book details the clan’s history, neighboring clans, major locations, and the dangers gathering across the region. It includes maps and profiles of more than 60 illustrated non-player characters, along with information on the Culbrea, Dinacoli, Telmori, Wulfsland settlers, local rebel leaders, and the Woods of the Dead. These materials provide a setting for running a clan-based campaign during the opening years of the Hero Wars.
