Circle the totem with your strongest pieces. On each turn, move the totem orthogonally or diagonally to an empty space, either adjacent or across any number of your own pieces, then place one of your pieces next to it. Each player has 18 pieces valued from 1 to 4. When the totem can no longer move, players compare the total value of their adjacent pieces; the higher total wins, with the number of adjacent pieces breaking ties.
