7 Wonders Duel: Pantheon
A collection of gods from multiple ancient cultures joins the game, each offering a unique ability that can benefit one player or hinder the other. Players collect mythology tokens in Age I to determine which deities enter the pantheon, then gather offering tokens in Age II to court those gods. In Ages II and III a player may invoke a deity instead of taking a card by paying the required offerings and placing that god next to their city, gaining its special power. The expansion also replaces the usual Age III guild additions with several Grand Temples that can be free to build if the player holds the matching mythology token, and introduces two new Wonders with distinct effects.

Mohasz7.5 I do like the additions, although I'm not totally sure they're really needed. I can still enjoy the base game just as much. Oh, and the Grand Temples are just boring compared to the Guilds. Also, I think there should've been more deity cards in the expansion (maybe 5x5), 3 for each mythology feels too few, there's not quite enough variety. It's weird drawing 2 from a 3-card deck. And what's even more unfortunate, is that 1 of those 3 cards is usually much less useful than the others.

I was afraid about if this one could break the essence of the game but it doesn't. Brings some little new elements to the game that makes it shine even more if you have played many times to the core one. Great expansion and very enjoyable

When I activate a Pantheon card, do I also take a card from the Age structure?
No. Activating a Divinity or the Gate is its own action and uses no card from the structure; take the Pantheon card and apply its effect immediately (p. 9).
Which activation cost do I pay, and how much does the Gate cost?
Pay the cost shown for your side of that Pantheon space, not your opponent’s; the cost increases for spaces farther from you. The Gate costs twice its space’s normal activation cost (pp. 9, 14).
What happens when I uncover a Mythology token?
Draw the top two Divinities from its matching deck, choose one to place face-down in an empty Pantheon space, and put the other face-down on top of that deck (p. 8).
Do I get coins back when I use an Offering token?
No. An Offering token reduces the activation cost by its printed value and is discarded after use; it does not give you coins (pp. 8, 16).
Can I build a Grand Temple for free, and do I spend the Mythology token?
If you have a Mythology token showing the Grand Temple symbol, you may build a Grand Temple for free, and you keep the token. You may also build one by paying its cost (p. 8).
