After the Serpent
A steampunk roleplaying game set in Quesoleum, a decadent royal city of clockworks, alchemy, pirates, colonial authorities, and unliving inhabitants. Players portray figures caught among the city’s aging queen, a dangerous queen of the night, an imperial captain of industry, native barons, tax collectors, and insurrectionists. The setting features clockwork armor, firearms, steam-powered monsters, alchemical life support, and the ruins of an older forgotten city, with no magic, dragons, elves, or dwarves.
