Age of Steam Expansion: California Gold Rush & Underground Railroad

Two full-size, double-sided maps add distinct scenarios to the railway-building game. In Central California during the gold rush, players build routes to gold mines and collect gold cubes instead of delivering goods or increasing their locomotive. Each gold cube increases end-game income, and the map supports 3–6 players. In the years before the American Civil War, players operate across the Eastern United States and may transport enslaved people north to free cities instead of delivering goods or improving their locomotive. These actions provide no income; the winner frees the most people without going bankrupt. This map supports 3–5 players.
