Age of Steam Expansion: Kansas City Interurban

This expansion map depicts the rise and decline of Kansas City’s interurban railways, as players compete to expand their networks before the automobile era ends the boom. Players begin in hexes adjacent to Kansas City and build outward. A Power Plant track replaces the base game’s Engine track, while each delivery must equal or exceed the player’s previous best. High initial costs and the need to build a power plant make the opening expensive, and longer deliveries cannot be abandoned for shorter routes later.
