Players expand their farms with new buildings, improvements, and resources while managing family members and actions. Horses are added as a new animal to breed and stable. Players must also keep each room of their house heated to prevent family illness, using fuel obtained by cutting wood from forests or harvesting peat from the moors. The game integrates these new elements into the usual cycle of placing workers, gathering resources, improving the farm, and feeding the family.
