Archimedes

Each player controls a King pawn on an 8×8 board. On each turn, a player moves the King as in chess, then places a pyramid on the board. Eight pyramids in five colors gradually restrict movement. A King surrounded by pyramids and unable to move is eliminated, unless two pyramids of the same color form a straight line away from it; the nearest pyramid may then be relocated, allowing the King to move into the vacated space.
