Beyond the Black Door
This adventure sends the party through an unstable gate into Acheron, a cold and shadowed plane ruled by evil. Near the undead town of Necros Mustafa, they must cross the River Styx, navigate deceptive guides and dangerous inhabitants, and find a way home. The party must discover how to pass Cerberus, guardian of the cavern leading out, while confronting shadows, ghouls, vampires, babaus, vrocks and other threats. An artifact, unusual allies and treacherous bargains complicate the journey. Designed for characters of levels 9–12, the adventure can be adjusted by changing the number of opponents in its encounters.
