Big Trouble at the Bear's Lair
A mid-level fantasy adventure for 4–6 characters of levels 2–4, compatible with first-edition rules and most retro-clones. The pastoral village of Baile nam Muc is threatened by two ogres and their chaotic minions, who have taken over a grizzly bear’s lair in the nearby foothills and begun attacking farmers and merchants. The characters are hired to investigate the attacks, confront the ogres and their followers, and end the threat to the surrounding community through a dungeon-crawl expedition.
