Brinkmanship
In 1965, investigators are sent to a CIA outpost in Turkey after its communications suddenly go silent. They explore the remote facility and surrounding wilderness, uncovering evidence of Soviet infiltration, secret experiments, and psychic “remote viewers” who may have discovered something beyond human understanding. This Cthulhu Awakens scenario is designed for characters of levels 3–6. Investigation and exploration lead to choices that can avert an apocalyptic threat, while leaving plot threads for a larger campaign.
