BURPS

A rules-light roleplaying game for younger or inexperienced players, using a simplified version of the GURPS system. Players create characters by purchasing Advantages such as languages, appearance, social status, or shapeshifting abilities, then develop Skills during play. The Game Master handles most combat details and determines the results of fights from the dice rolls, with optional rules from GURPS Lite for more specific damage and defenses. Shapeshifting characters purchase separate attributes for each form, allowing unusual concepts such as a dragon form to develop over time.
