C-Cross

Players aim to connect two opposing sides of the board with their own C-shaped tiles. Before placing a tile, they must place three pawns in the area it will cover; completing the placement returns those pawns to their supply. If an opponent’s pawn is present in the area, one of the player’s pawns elsewhere is replaced by that opponent’s pawn. The game ends when a player connects the two sides or the opponent has no legal move.
