Players build a medieval landscape by drawing and placing square tiles that show cities, roads, cloisters and fields, connecting features so edges match. After placing a tile, a player may deploy one of their meeples as a knight on a city, a robber on a road, a monk in a cloister, or a farmer in a field to claim and later score completed features. Turns are short: each turn consists of placing one tile and optionally placing one meeple, while strategic choices revolve around when and where to commit limited meeples and how to expand or block shared features. This edition collects the base game plus a variety of expansions that add new tiles, rules, and special pieces.
