Dark creatures from the Shadowlands—vampires, zombies, werewolves and shadows—spread across the realm as factions vie for power. Players recruit and deploy reinforcement units, bolster forces and contest key locations to influence the struggle for the throne. Gameplay centers on drafting and playing cards to build a squad of supernatural and mortal allies, resolving skirmishes and managing resources to expand control. Strategic choices about which allies to align with and when to commit reinforcements determine each player’s standing as the conflict unfolds.
