A high-level fantasy adventure centered on a lost device once used by the Elven Armada to repel illithids and control captured specimens. The investigation leads into the history of the Rigal family, whose magical and scientific experiments sought to breed humanoid–mind flayer hybrids as anti-illithid shock troops.
