A Renaissance-styled swashbuckling nation spans one large island and several smaller islands along its shores, including one artificially separated during the ancient Wars of Darkness. Fourteen self-proclaimed sea princes rule the coastal cities, each governing their port according to their own customs and priorities. The result is a diverse and often contradictory society shaped by rival maritime powers.
