In a world of dangerous criminals, covert missions, and costumed vigilantes, action heroes confront threats in the shadows. Using the HERO System rules, players create characters and resolve investigation, combat, chases, and other action-adventure scenes. Scenarios can range from espionage and urban crime to cinematic missions inspired by thrillers and heroic adventure.
