In Florence in 1559, artists, architects, mercenaries, merchants, nobles, and bankers pursue influence under the rule of Cosimo I de’ Medici. Players create relationships, ambitions, and complications among their characters, then play out scenes shaped by shared choices and dice. The story develops through schemes, alliances, betrayals, and escalating misfortune in a Renaissance setting.
