A setting guide and pen-and-paper role-playing game set on a planet buried beneath mountains of rubbish, where environmental disasters have produced scrap-metal ranges, overgrown jungles, battery deserts, polluted oceans, zombie states, and robot enclaves. The book describes Deponia’s cultures, locations, creatures, history, and possible future, while providing compact narrative rules for creating and playing original characters. It includes ready-made characters, adventure plots and ideas, 100 item cards, and a large planetary map. Players can portray dump dwellers, Elysians, robots, renegade Organons, slime monsters, or other inhabitants while exploring new regions and dangers.
