Players lead an Antarctic expedition sent by Miskatonic University to investigate mysterious fossilized prints and the disappearance of a previous team. The game blends exploration, investigation and narrative choices as players manage resources, reveal locations and uncover clues that advance the story. Encounters and events present difficult decisions that affect sanity, survival and the expedition’s progress. Resolution uses card-driven mechanics and branching paths to determine what secrets are revealed and how the team endures the encroaching cosmic horror.
