Assassins draw on shadow magic by pledging a fragment of their souls to the Shadowfell. This dark reflection replaces part of their being and can be manifested to exploit weaknesses in an opponent’s defenses. With time to study a target, an assassin can turn even a heavily protected enemy into a corpse.
