Fabula Ultima

A tabletop role-playing game that adapts the conventions of Japanese-style JRPG video games into a shared-story system. Players create characters with archetypal classes and abilities, pursue narrative goals, and face antagonists and strange monsters as the group moves through episodic scenes. Gameplay combines scene framing, card- and dice-driven resolution, and a modular rules set for combat, exploration, and character growth. The system emphasizes cinematic turns, resource-driven abilities, and collaborative story development, letting groups orchestrate heroic arcs, rivalries, and revelations across a fantasy setting of magic, mysteries, and varied locales.
