French Toast
One player secretly picks a target word and becomes the Toastmaster, while the rest try to discover that word through a limited series of guesses. The Toastmaster never gives direct feedback; instead they repeat back whichever guess is currently “closest” to the secret according to a criterion they choose. When a new guess is closer, the Toastmaster repeats that new guess; when it isn’t, they repeat the previous closest guess. Players have a fixed number of rounds to make successive guesses and infer the Toastmaster’s closeness rule to reach the secret word.

Real Zzzz7.5 Really enjoyed this one. It’s single and straightforward and gratifying when they guess right. Interesting rules makes for a fun quick game
